Signet rings are a special passion of ours.
The concept of the signet ring has been said to date as far back as 3500 BC. Emblazoned with heraldic crests, these rings were uniquely used to identify the family of the ring holder and were often used as a stamp to sign important documents. Every ring was traditionally hand-engraved and would often be reverse engineered to make sure that when the ring was used as a wax stamp the design would come out perfectly on paper.
There are extensive resources available on traditional family crests and insignia. However, not all family names have a traditional crest.
With that said, we also love partnering with your creative expression to design contemporary signet rings and crests that will suit you.
Our signet rings are all intricately engraved by hand - a craft that is becoming increasingly rare in the era of digital computers and machines.
We are passionate about the importance of embracing this kind of heritage and look forward to creating an heirloom that best represents you. If you would like to inquire about creating a signet ring for yourself or a loved one, contact us and we can start the design process.
